Parasites.... the single most missed factor in health.

We all know that animals are full of parasites; dogs, cats and horses are regularly dewormed. But what about humans? Do we have parasites? Dr Hulda Clark, a world authority on parasites, states that "We are heavily parasitized beings! Our bodies are large enough to provide food and shelter for lots of these free loaders. If they were settled on the outside where we could see them, like lice or ticks, we would rid ourselves in a flash. Nothing is more distasteful to the imagination than hordes of biting, chewing, crawling, sucking creatures on our flesh. But what about IN our flesh? We cannot see inside ourselves, so we mistakenly assume that nothing is there."

Ann Louise Gittleman in her book, "Guess what came for dinner", says of parasites "They are insidious because of the common misconception among medical people and the general public that parasites are generally a Third World problem where malnutrition and poor hygienic practices exist. Nothing could be farther from the truth."

It has been estimated that the average human has about a kilogram of parasites in their body. Worm parasites are more common than most people expect, and they are listed as The Center for Disease Control's number 1 Health Risk. "Hookworms sink their teeth into the intestinal walls of more than a billion people every day to drink their fill of blood." According to the World Health Organization, 3.5 billion people suffer from some type of parasitic infection. Not all of these people live in third world countries; many in the developed world have any number of parasitic infections, some of which are so highly contagious that extremely casual contact with something that has been handled by an infected person can infect another person."

Scientist at Ohio Univesity in the States have stated "It is estimated that pinworms infect more than 400,000,000 people throughout the world, and in many areas of the world (e.g., North America and Europe) it is the most common nematode parasite of humans. On a world-wide basis, however, Ascaris lumbricoides ranks #1 infecting more than 1,000,000,000 people."

"Ascaris lumbricoides is one of the largest and most common parasites found in humans.The adult females of this species can measure up to 18 inches long (males are generally shorter), and it is estimated that 25% of the world's population is infected with this nematode. The adult worms live in the small intestine and eggs are passed in the feces. A single female can produce up to 200,000 eggs each day!."

"Fasciola hepatica is found in parts of the United States, as well as in Great Britian, Ireland, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Africa, and Australia."

What is a Parasite?

"A parasite is any living thing that flourishes within or upon another living organism. The parasite obtains food and shelter from the host and contirbutes nothing to it's welfare. Some parasites harm their hosts by causing irritation and interfering with bodily functions; others destroy host tissues and release toxins into the body, thus injuring health and causing disease ... Few people realize the enormous adverse impact these parasites have on human wellbeing. They constitute the greatest single cause of sickness and death for humankind." - Dr. Morton Walker.

What are the symptoms of internal parasites?

Possible signs and symptoms of internal parasites:
  • Feel tired most of the time (Chronic Fatigue)?
  • Have digestive problems?
  • Have gastrointestinal symptoms and bulky stools with excess fat in feces?
  • Suffer with food sensitivities and environmental intolerance?
  • Developed allergic-like reactions and can’t understand why?
  • Have joint and muscle pains and inflammation often assumed to be arthritis?
  • Suffer with anemia or iron deficiency (pernicious anemia)?
  • Have rashes, weeping eczema, cutaneous ulcers, swelling, sores, papular lesions, itchy dermatitis?
  • Suffer with restlessness and anxiety?
  • Experience multiple awakenings during the night particularly between 2 and 3 am?
  • Grind your teeth?
  • Have an excessive amount of bacterial or viral infections?
  • Depressed?
  • Difficulty gaining or losing weight no matter what you do?
  • Did a Candida program which either didn’t help at all?
  • Just can’t figure out why you don’t feel really great and neither can your doctor?
  • Itchy ears, nose, anus
  • Forgetfulness, slow reflexes, gas and bloating, unclear thinking;
  • Loss of appetite, yellowish face
  • Fast heartbeat, heart pain, pain in the navel;
  • Eating more than normal but still feeling hungry;
  • Pain in the back, thighs, shoulders;
  • Lethargy;
  • Numb hands;
  • Burning sensation in the stomach;
  • Drooling while sleeping;
  • Damp lips at night, dry lips during the day, grinding teeth while asleep;
  • Bed wetting;
  • Women: problems with the menstrual cycle;
  • Men: sexual dysfunction;

These are only possible symptoms, and please keep in mind that not everyone that has a few of these symptoms should automatically make the assumption that they are infected; however, if you suspect infection or have been unsuccessfully treated for a problem, it is worth doing some specific parasite cleansing.

How Can These Parasites Affect Our Health?

Louise Gittleman says that many unexplained health conditions often disappeared when parasites were eliminated from the body. These conditions included "environmental illness, skin problems, digestive problems, excessive fatigue, hypoglycemia, arthritic-like pains, long-standing obesity, and even depression."

Can parasites live inside our organs?

Parasites By Location Within the Host:

Alimentary tract
197 species
Cavities, organs, and tissues
107 species
Circulatory system
21 species
Skin and tissues
56 species

What do informed people say?

Louis Parrish, M.D. a New York City physician who specializes in parasites, wrote in 1991, "Projections for the year 2025 suggest that more than half of the 8.3 billion people on Earth will then be infected with parasitic diseases."

"I strongly believe that every patient with disorders of immune function, including multiple allergies (especially food allergy), and patients with unexplained fatigue or with chronic bowel symptoms should be evaluated for the presence of intestinal parasites." - Leo Galland, M.D. Townsend Letter for Doctors, 1988.

"Make no mistake about it, worms are the most toxic agents in the human body. They are one of the primary underlying causes of disease and are the most basic cause of a compromised immune system." - Hazel Parcells, D.C., N.D., Ph.D.,.

Worms and parasites in general live in a body that has accumulated waste. Every obstruction in the human body makes perfect terrain for large numbers of parasites to
live.

How do we become infected?

Everyone is susceptible.

Let’s look at some of the reasons for rising parasitic infections. This list is taken from page 9 & 10 of Louise Gittleman’s book, "Guess What Came to Dinner":

  • Rise in international travel.
  • Contamination of municipal and rural water supplies.
  • Increasing use of Day-care centers.
  • Influx of refugee and immigrant populations from endemic areas.
  • Return of armed forces from overseas.
  • Continued popularity of household pets.
  • Increasing popularity of exotic regional foods.
  • Use of antibiotics and immunosuppressive drugs.
  • The sexual revolution.
  • The spread of AIDS.

There are four pathways that we can be infected:

  • Via food or water which are sources of the roundworm, amoebae, giardia.

  • Via a vector - e.g. a mosquito (carrier of dog heartworm, filaria & malaria); a flea (carrier of dog tapeworm); the common housefly (transmits amebic cysts) and the sand fly (carries leishmaniasis).

  • Via sexual contact where partners can transmit trichomonas, giardia, amoebae.

  • Through the nose and skin where pinworm eggs and Toxoplasma gondii can be inhaled from contaminated dust, hookworms, schistosomes, and strongyloides can penetrate exposed skin and bare feet.

"Another parasitic pathway is the airplane. Extensive foreign travel has exposed people to a whole gamut of exotic diseases never before encountered in their homeland." Guess What Came to Dinner by Louise Gittleman, pg. 22.

Some food sources are pork, seafood and undercooked meat.

Having too much waste in our bodies due to improper eating and accumulated toxins leads to low oxygen levels which in turn can lead to parasite infestation. As the body looses proper oxygen levels, fungus or massive parasites overwhelm the body and this can be a factor or cause in most diseases.

For many centuries mankind has sought the aid of herbs to regain control over that which has  accumulated in the body. Remove the waste and the parasites can be controlled.

How Many Kinds of Parasites Are There?

There are four classes of parasites and within each class are many varieties of them.

  • Protozoa, microscopic organisms invisible to the eye. They are one-celled but reproduce rapidly, can take over the intestinal tract and from there go on to other organs and tissues. They have been described as "microscopic vampires".

  • Phylum Nematoda (Round worms)Larger parasites or worms known as Nematoda that are visible to the eye (if you know what you are looking for). They are multi-cellular and multiply by producing eggs.

  • Phylum trematoda (flat worms)

  • Phylum cestoda (Tape worms)  known as Cestoda are the largest intestinal inhabitants of man. They have a head that attaches to the intestinal wall. As long as the head is attached a new worm can grow from it.

So, What can we do?

Dr. Hulda Clark states:

"Getting rid of all these parasites would be absolutely impossible using clinical medicines that can kill only one or two parasites each. Such medicines also tend to make you quite ill. Flagyl is used for amoebas and Giardia; when the correct dosage is used, it can cause extreme nausea and vomiting. Quinine for malaria is quite toxic. Imagine taking 10 such drugs to kill a dozen of your parasites! Good news...for the drug makers but not for you. "

" Yet three herbs can rid you of over 100 types of parasites! And without so much as a headache! Without nausea! Without any interference with any drug that you are already on! Does this sound too fantastic? Just too good to be true? They are nature's gift to us. The herbs are:

•  Black Walnut Hulls (from the black walnut tree)
•  Wormwood (from the Artemisia shrub)
•  Common Cloves (from the clove tree)

These three herbs must be used together. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites. Cloves kill the eggs.  Only if you use them together will you rid yourself of parasites. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only the eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. They must be used together as a single treatment."

ParasiteX™ contains these three essential herbs along with 6 other special herbs known for their strong effect. Our Black Walnut Hull tincture uses the fresh Green Hull and is extracted via Organic alcohol. It is stronger than Dr. Hulda Clark's recipe for Extra Strength Black Walnut tincture from her books.

ParasiteX™

Here is a closer look at the ingredients of ParasiteX™:

Fresh Green Hull & Leaf of Black Walnut tree
Black walnut hulls contain juglone, a chemical that is antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic, and a fungicide. As a skin wash, black walnut hulls are used to treat ringworm and yeast infections of the skin. Taken internally, black walnut hulls are used to treat intestinal worms.

It is said that Black Walnut oxygenates the blood to kill parasites. The brown stain found in the green husk contains organic iodine which has antiseptic and healing properties. It is also used to balance sugar levels and burn up excessive toxins and fatty materials.

The use of the Black Walnut was studied in Germany in 1950-52 and considered one of the best over all de-wormers for humans and supplies the liver with many nutrients such as rich potassium.

Dr. Clark says "It is the green hull surrounding the nut of the black walnut tree that has this miraculous parasiticide. "

Fresh Wormwood Herb
The herb Wormwood has been used for centuries as a herbal remedy for parasites. Wormwood tea is often used for pinworms and roundworms and is especially effective against giardia.  Wormwood contains sesquiterpene lactones, which work similar to peroxide by weakening the parasite membranes. Wormwood also contains an ingredient that is effective against malaria. As a bitter herb, Wormwood helps produce bile, which in turn helps the liver and gallbladder.

According to some herbalists, Wormwood is one of the most powerful tools in the parasite-killing herb kingdom. It is most effective against roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and pinworms. Wormwood contains the potent chemicals thujone and isothujone, which are the primary components that kill parasites. Wormwood also contains santonin, an effective remedy for parasitic diseases.

A master herbalist in the States says "the best medical parasite herb book ever printed
and peer approved by medical doctors around the world suggested one cure for all worm problems and naturally it was wormwood . "

"This shrub is called wormwood for good reason: it kills worms!  Wormwood goes back to antiquity and is mentioned in the Bible. " - Dr. Hulda Clark

Freshly ground Cloves
Cloves contain eugenol, caryophyllene, and tannins, which are powerful antimicrobial agents. These components travel through the bloodstream, killing microscopic parasites and parasitic larvae and eggs. Eugenol has a pleasant, spicy, clove-like odor, and is the main biologically active compound in cloves.

Cloves are tremendously effective in killing malaria, tuberculosis, cholera, scabies and other parasites, viruses, bacteria and fungi, including Candida. Cloves also destroy Pseudomonas aeruginosa (a pathogen from plants), all species of Shigella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus.

Pau D’Arco Herb
One of the best known herbs from the Amazonian rainforest, pau d'arco is a key ingredient in the tribal medicine chest, used as whole herb to treat infections and cancer. Pau d'arco is considered to be analgesic, antioxidant, antiparasitic, antimicrobial, antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, as well as to have anticancerous properties.

Its antiparasitic actions against various parasites (including malaria, schistosoma, and trypanosoma) have been confirmed by numerous international research projects.

In addition to its reported antitumor and antileukemic activities, pau d'arco clearly has demonstrated broad spectrum actions against a number of disease-causing microorganisms, which supports its wide array of uses in herbal medicine. Antimicrobial properties of many of pau d'arco's active phytochemicals were demonstrated in several clinical studies, in which they exhibited strong in vitro activity against bacteria, fungi, and yeast (including Candida, Aspergillus, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Helicobacter pylori, Brucella, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and dysentery).

Pau d'arco and its chemicals also have demonstrated in vitro antiviral properties against various viruses, including Herpes I and II, influenza, polio virus, and vesicular stomatitis virus.

Pau d’arco has a cleansing ability so is very useful for relieving intestinal infections, destroying parasites, and restoring colon health. A number of infection fighting substances known as napthoquinones seem to destroy certain disease causing bacteria, without destroying beneficial bacteria. This makes it an excellent natural antibiotic.

Pau d'Arco has proven active against various tropical parasites including flukes and also malaria and Chagas' disease.

Olive Leaf
Known as "Nature's Antibiotic". Dr. Morton Walker has stated that Olive leaf eliminates all types of infections, including yeast, fungal, bacterial, viral, and other parasitic protozoan.

According to James R. Privitera, M.D., "some of the properties of the extract are its ability to degrade pathological microorganisms of all kinds, relieve inflammation, eliminate chronic fatigue syndrome, restore energy, normalize heart beat irregularities, lessen pain from toothaches, relieve malaria, and kill and eliminate parasites "

Ginger Root
Ginger is the most widely used and available herbal remedy on the planet, with billions of people using it every day as both food and medicine.

Scientists have found evidence to support ginger's wide range of medicinal actions. These actions include the lowering of cholesterol levels, relief for allergies and asthma, arthritis, colds, and nausea; and protecting the digestive tract and liver against toxins and parasites.

Ginger contains a chemical called zingibain that dissolves parasites and their eggs.

Fennel Seed
This herb is known to be antiparasitic. Fennel seed is used to help remove and expel parasites and their wastes. Fennel is also very effective against Candida albicans.

Some authorities suggest Fennel 'digests' parasite eggs in the stomach and intoxicates parasites, making them less protective and easier to annihilate.

Fresh Thyme Leaf
Thyme is a powerful antiseptic and a general tonic with curative powers. It has been used for anemia, bronchial and intestinal problems, and as an antiseptic for tooth decay. It destroys fungal infections such as athlete's foot, and skin parasites such as crabs and lice. It also kills abdominal worms. Also good for: bowel problems, bruises, catarrh (inflammation of mucous membranes of the nose and throat), coli, diarrhea, indigestion, epilepsy, fainting, fever, gastritis, external gout, headaches, heartburn, hysteria, internal infections, laryngitis, leprosy, lung congestion, mastitis, suppressed menstruation, nightmares, paralysis, promoting perspiration, rheumatism, sciatica, sinus problems, throat problems, uterine problems, warts, whooping cough..

Research suggests "Thyme is especially effective in killing hook-worms, roundworms, threadworms and skin parasites. Thyme also destroys Cryptococcus neoformans, Aspergillus, Saprolegnia, Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureas, and Escherichia coli."

Goldenseal Root
Goldenseal root is considered to be an effective broad spectrum antibiotic, and is very much in demand worldwide. Its antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties have led researchers to study goldenseal root as a possible alternative to chemical antibiotics. Goldenseal also appears to promote healthy glandular function, and may have a tonic and detoxifying effect on the entire system.

Goldenseal is rich in Berberine, a proven amebicide. Berberine has also been shown to kill a wide range of other types of germs, such as those that cause candida (yeast) infections, viruses, and various parasites such as tapeworms and Giardia. Berberine may also activate white blood cells, making them more effective at fighting infection.

These herbs are carefully formulated within ParasiteX™ to provide a synergistic, powerful, effective & safe formula.

Please Note: It is important that your colon be working effectively when doing a parasite cleanse, so that the dead parasites can be quickly eliminated from the body to prevent toxicity buildup. For this reason we recommend that a colon cleanse be done in conjunction with ParasiteX. See ColonX.

Dosage of tinctures vary. The size and condition of each person is important, if you are of a small frame you would take a smaller dose. The general recommended adult dosage for a tincture is 1/4 teaspoon three times a day OR 10-20 drops up to three times a day. Check with a qualified herbalist for the proper dosage for you.

Remember that listening to your body is the key for discovering the proper dosage for your needs. When using ParasiteX for the first time, start slowly and see how you feel. It's best to build up to the larger doses. Start with 2 drops three times a day and gradually increase over a few days until you are taking 10 drops three times a day. Some people take 20 drops three times a day.

10 drops = 0.50ml
20 drops = 1.00ml
50 ml bottle of ParasiteX = 1000 drops

At 10 drops three times a day (30 drops), this bottle will last approx 1 month.
At 20 drops three times a day (60 drops), this bottle will last approx 2 weeks.
